"Faldingworth is a small village about 8 miles north of Lincoln standing on the main road...at a quess population between 1,000 to 2,000...this is an annual event and this year started on 24th June and ended 3rd July it has a different theme every year and this year was books... all the scarecrows are made and displayed on the owners property, they produce a guide for visitors to buy and it details the name of the scarecrow (i.e. no 47. is Noddy goes to Toytown. Enid Blyton) and also provides a route around the village showing where each scarecrow can be found...people hold Tombola stalls, bric-a-brac stalls, plus ice cream all in all it is a very good day out."
